Temporary Fencing Provider & Barricade Service Frequently Asked Questions
Temporary fencing can be used for construction sites, paving sites, festivals, fairs, concerts, sporting events, parades, beach events, marathons, and other special events. Your local, prequalified temporary fencing provider is available to assist you in determining your rental needs specific for your particular site or special event.
Fence and barrier recommendations will depend on the event or construction site. Chain link fences are installed into the ground whereas fence panels are stand alone and can be easily moved if necessary. Crowd control barricades are lightweight and portable and can be quickly reconfigured. Your local provider can assist you in determining which fence or barrier is best for your project or event.
Your local temporary fencing provider keeps up to date on all localized ordinances about temporary fencing so they can ensure all city and state fencing rules are fully met with their products and services. You will be able to rest easy knowing your fencing or barricade rental is fully compliant. If you have any specific concerns, be sure to discuss them with your provider when you are reviewing your fencing options.
Blackout screens are commonly used for dust control on construction sites, to provide privacy and to improve security by reducing visibility to the products and equipment on your job site. The screens are hemmed on all sides, giving your site a professional and finished look. They can be added to any size fence rental option and are available in either black or green.
To ensure your local provider can supply you with exactly what you need, we recommend that you contact them as soon as you have an estimate on the dates you will need fencing. In most cases, providing notice at least 2 days in advance of your event or date of barrier need is adequate. For large events or highly populated job sites, a week or more lead time is encouraged. However, if you require same day delivery, your provider will make every effort to accommodate your request.
Your price includes stands, poles, delivery, setup, removal and any other necessary items for installation. Your provider may also offer additional options including blackout screens and sandbags for storm preparation or additional security.
The policy on order changes will vary slightly by vendor. In general, all changes to your order must occur at least one business day in advance to allow for processing. There will likely be an additional charge for keeping the fencing longer than originally selected in your order.
